Abstract

The first theoretical prediction that shallow impurity states in semiconductors should be greatly influenced by an external static magnetic field of technically attainable intensity was given by Yafet, Keyes, and Adams (YKA) in 1956 (1). In this chapter we will describe an outgrowth of the theory originating from this work.
