Abstract
Effects of the halo on the Coulomb displacement energy (CDE) for the isobaric analog state (IAS) of 11Li are investigated. The halo is found to reduce the CDE by 100∼200 keV. Recent experimental observation of the CDE of 11Li is consistent with this effect. An acceptable range of the configurations of the halo-neutron wave function for 11Li is obtained, while the contributions from charge-symmetry breaking (CSB) and charge-independence breaking (CIB) interactions are included as well as other less important contributions. Our analysis leads to a large mixing of the 1 s 1 2 2-configurations in the halo wave function.
