Abstract
Griseofulvin had the following effects on the growth of hyphae of Polyporus arcularius : slowing of elongation rate, curling, increased branching. The distribution of nuclei and the sites of mitosis were altered by the drug, but the total number of nuclei in the entire apical system was unchanged. Little difference was seen in ultrastructure between treated and untreated hyphae.
