Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the CA3 pyramidal cell firing responses as a function of the input spike train from a statistical and information theoretical point of view. These properties of a single cell might contribute to the network synchrony at different frequency ranges. The effect of the mossy fiber input were examined.
