Summary

Introduction

Tobacco has dangerous effect on human health, it still highly consumed throughout the world (Benowitz et al, 1988). Many toxic and carcinogenic compounds harmful to the health can be generated by cigarette smoking, like; nicotine, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen cyanide, carbon monoxide and free radicals (Hoffmann et al, 2001). Nicotine is a volatile and highly toxic colorless, natural liquid alkaloid, on exposure to the air it turns brown and acquires the odour of tobacco. 70-75 % of the total nicotine elimination is through the renal excretion (Rosenberg et al, 1980). It excreted in the lactating smoking women milk (Goodman and Gilman, 1991)
