Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of endovascular angioplasty on lower limb ischemia in patients with arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower limbs. Methods A total of 42 patients with lower limb arteriosclerosis occlusion in Changzhi People’s Hospital from February 2016 to June 2018 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into two groups, the observation group (21 cases) and the control group (21 cases). The control group received conventional conservative treatment with drugs, and the observation group was treated by endovascular angioplasty. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared after 60 days of treatment, and the Rutherford grading before and 60 days afte treatment was observed. The follow-up period was 6 months, and the quality of life of the patients was calculated. Results After treatment, the total effective rate in the observation group was 90.48%, higher than the 61.90% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Rutherford grading after treatment in both groups decreased compared with that before treatment. Compared with the control group, Rutherford grading in the observation group decreased significantly, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The quality of life scores of the two groups were improved, and the increase in the observation group were higher than taht in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Endovascular angioplasty in the treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower limbs can effectively alleviate the symptoms of lower limb ischemia and improve the quality of life. Key words: Arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower limbs; Endovascular angioplasty; Ischemia of lower extremity; Clinical curative effect
