SummaryIn rats fed hypercholesterolizing diets, DEA significantly reduced liver lipides, liver cholesterol, aortic cholesterol, and serum cholesterol, when the fat component was hydrogenated coconut oil. There was no effect of DEA when dietary fat was corn oil.
