Abstract

One can determine the carbon contents indirectly for ZhGr1, ZhGr1D2.5K0.4, and ZhGr1D3 sintered steels by the use of physical properties such as the coercive force and the amplitude of the magnetoacoustic emission signal, while the density can be determined from the saturation magnetization, elastic modulus, speed of ultrasound, and acoustic resonance frequency, which is excited by a contactless method. The resistivity is very much dependent on the carbon content, which makes it difficult to use ρ to monitor the density.
