Abstract
To assess potential interactions of a topical vaginal antifungal medication (miconazole nitrate) on release, pharmacokinetics and absorption of Nestorone (NES) and ethinyl estradiol (EE) from an investigational long-acting (1-year) contraceptive vaginal ring (CVR). A secondary objective was to evaluate safety of the CVR in the presence of antimycotic co-medication.
