Abstract

Flax plants inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum f. lini when 21 days old were more extensively colonized than plants inoculated at 28 days. Plants exposed to boron deficiency before inoculation developed more severe wilt than those moved to boron-deficient solutions after inoculation. High calcium level after inoculation lessened wilt severity; calcium level before inoculation had less effect.
