Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of beclometasone combined with ipratropium bromide inhalation by Y-tube of ventilator in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). Methods A total of 60 AECOPD patients treated in Xuzhou First People’s Hospital from March 2016 to July 2018 were selected, and they were randomly divided into the observation group and control group according to the interval selection method, with 30 cases in each group. Patients in the observation group were given atomized beclomethasone combined with ipratropium bromide by Y-tube of ventilator, while atomization was not used for patients in the control group. The therapeutic effects and changes of blood gas analysis indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of mechanical ventilation in the observation group was (6.95±1.86)d, less than the (7.98±1.65)d in the control group (P 0.05). Conclusions Beclometasone combined with ipratropium bromide inhalation by Y-tube of ventilator has favorable clinical effects on AECOPD. Key words: Pulmonary disease, chronic obstructive; Beclometasone; Ipratropium bromide
