Abstract

The effects of bandlimiting on the performance of a non-coherent frequency-shift keyed (FSK) system are analysed under the influence of additive Gaussian noise. This system consists of two parallel filters, followed by two square-law envelope devices with the sum of their outputs fed to an integrate-and-dump detector. Also, the performances of this non-coherent FSK system are compared to those of the coherent FSK system for several values of the system parameter BT.
