Effects of Arthro-7® in relieving symptoms of osteoarthritis with mild to moderate arthralgia [Corrigendum] Xie Q, Zhou T, Yen L, Shariff M, Nguyen T, Kami K, Gu P, Liang L, Rao J, Shi R. Nutrition and Dietary Supplements. 2013;5:1–6.On page 2, under the Materials section, the 1st paragraph should read "The Arthro-7 and placebo capsules were provided by Robinson Pharma (Orange County, CA, USA). The Arthro-7 was in the form of capsules containing vitamin C, collagen (from chicken) cetyl myristoleate (CMO), lipase, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), curcumin, and bromelain (Table 1). The main ingredient of the placebo capsule was corn powder. In addition, there were gelatin, glycerin, purified water and titanium dioxide, and artificial food coloring."On page 4, under the Discussion section, 2nd paragraph, the 2nd and 3rd sentences should read "Collagen is the main component of articular cartilage and the principal substance responsible for maintaining the physical, chemical, and mechanical properties of articular cartilage. The collagen in Arthro-7 is extracted from chicken, which has previously been shown to suppress collagen-induced arthritis.18"Read the original article
