Abstract
Background and Aims: Ficus deltoidea var. kunstleri (FDK), a natural product has been reported to exhibit atheroprotective properties in vitro. However, its in vivo atheroprotective effects are unknown. This study aims to investigate the atheroprotective effects of aqueous ethanolic extract of FDK on high cholesterol diet (HCD)-induced early and established atherosclerosis in rabbits.
