Abstract
A systematic literature search was performed on electronic databases from inception to 2021. The risk of bias was assessed by two reviewers (SB and BL). The PEDro scale was used to assess the methodological quality of the RCTs and the standards for reporting interventions in clinical trials of acupuncture (STRICTA) was used to assess the quality of the acupuncture intervention. This systematic review is reported according to the PRISMA guidelines.
