Abstract

To the Editor: Children with skin disease often experience bullying, social exclusion, and decreased quality of life because of stigma of visible diseases.1 Many diversity, equity, and inclusion curricula target racial/ethnic and gender differences but rarely include medical conditions. We address the knowledge gap by evaluating the impact of an educational intervention focused on the perception of skin diseases in children.
