Abstract

The present paper describes a developmental toddler educational care program which has been established and evaluated for its short and long term effectiveness in Korea. The developmental toddler educational care program is an ongoing program of the Yonsei University Child Development Research Institute (CDRI), Seoul, Korea. Quality comprehensive services including education, health, nutrition, and parent education are provided for 16‐22 children from 30 months to 60 months of age whose mothers are working outside the home. Brief reports are given on one year and two year effects of the program.
