Abstract

Endotoxin is a commonly encountered bioaerosol component of particulate matter (PM), a prevalent indoor and outdoor pollutant. PM has been linked to increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. This study examines systemic inflammatory effects of inhaled endotoxin and associated alterations in cardiovascular function.
