Abstract
2 : 6-DIAMINOPURINE is a metabolic antagonist of the natural purines and is a powerful inhibitor of the process of duplication of deoxyribose nucleic acid that precedes mitosis1. This communication reports a differential effect of this substance on the lateral and main axis meristems of the roots of subterranean clover (Trifolium subterraneum L. var. Bacchus Marsh).
