Abstract
The objective of this research: to determine the effectiveness of the TGfU-based mini volleyball learning model in improving the technical skills of the male senior students of elementary school. Materials and methods: the research method used to test effectiveness was an experimental research method by comparing the TGfU-based mini volleyball game model with the mini volleyball game learning usually given by teachers at school. This research was conducted at SD N Kepuh (Kepuh Elementary School) with the subjects of 20 male senior students as the experimental group and SD N Patalan Baru (Patalan Baru Elementary School) with the subjects of 20 male senior students as the control group. The instruments were the AAHPER Serving Accuracy Test and the Brumbach forearm pass wall-volley test. Results: The application of the mini volleyball learning model show the differences in results between the treatment group (SD N Kepuh) and the control group (SD N Patalan Baru). The results of the research show that there are differences between the experimental and control groups in the forearm serve, overhead serve, and forearm passing skills with a significant value of less than 0.05 (p 0.05). These results prove that after being given treatment to the control and experimental groups, it states that the TGFU-based mini volleyball learning model is proven to be effective in improving the forearm serve, overhead serve, and forearm passing skills.
