Abstract

Results on the efficacy of a microbial insecticide (Paecilomyces fumosoroseus PFR‐97 WDG) and botanical insecticides (Neemix and SuperNeem 4.5) are presented. PFR‐97 WDG at three concentrations (0.1%, 0.2% and 0.4%), Neemix (0.4%) and SuperNeem 4.5 (0.04%) were applied as double sprays at 7‐day intervals against Bemisia tabaci on poinsettias. PFR‐97 WDG (0.4%) and SuperNeem 4.5 (0.04% and 0.08%) were also applied in a programme consisting of two spray treatments at 7‐day intervals against Frankliniella occidentalis on glasshouse roses.
