Abstract
This paper analyzed the records and effectiveness of formative assessment on children health care course with SPSS and students' portfolio.The results indicated that there were positive linear correlations and no significant difference among formative assessment,summative assessment and comprehensive records.Then analyzed the characteristic of formative assessment.
