Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyse the Effectiveness of Bibliotherapy on Self-Efficacy among orphanage children. The experimental, pre-post-test with control group design was undertaken on 30 children. There are 8 female and 7 male in experimental group and 6 female and 9 male in control group. The samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES). The data collected were analysed by using t-test. Findings revealed that in pre-test, the students had low level if Self-Efficacy. Highly significant difference was found between pre and post-test Self-Efficacy level related to Bibliotherapy. No significant association was found between post-test Self-Efficacy and their demographic variables.
