Abstract

Objective To study the effectiveness of benazepril combined with Huangkui capsule on urinary monocyte chemotactic factor-1 (MCP-1) in patients with a small amount of proteinuria of IgA nephropathy. Methods Eighty-two patients with a small amount of proteinuria of IgA nephropathy were randomly divided into two groups, the observation group (41 cases) and the control group (41 cases). The patients in the observation group were treated with benazepril combined with Huangkui capsule, while the patients in the control group were treated with benazepril. They were all treated for 8 weeks.Urinary MCP-1 were detected before and after treatment. Results For the observation group,a total of 40 patients completed the experiment, and the total effective rate was 100%.For the control group,39 patients completed the experiment, and the total effective rate was 87.2%,there was significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05).Twenty-four hours urine protein in the two groups after treatment were significantly decreased, and compared with the control group, the observation group decreased more significantly (P < 0.05).Two sets of serum creatinine, blood urea before and after treatment did not change significantly (P > 0.05).After treatment, urinary MCP-1 were significantly reduced, and compared with the control group, the observation group decreased more significantly (P < 0.05).Conclusions Benazepril combined with Huangkui capsule can significantly decrease urinary MCP-1 in patients with a small amount of proteinuria of IgA nephropathy.
