Effective Methods to Monitor IT Infrastructure Security for Small Business

Abstract

Small business leaders face many challenges. Cybersecurity has become a constant and growing threat to small businesses. All businesses, no matter how big or small, are vulnerable to cyber threats. While small businesses have less money and resources to combat cyber threats, small business leaders should monitor their business IT infrastructure security and implement a cybersecurity plan. Our research paper assesses the importance of cybersecurity in small business organizations and provides recommendations about critical components of an effective cybersecurity plan. This research provides answers to several questions: What are the main cyber threats facing small businesses? What strategies are effective in protecting small businesses from cyber threats in a world where technology is a necessity for organizational efficiency and competition? How can business leaders implement a comprehensive cybersecurity defensive system?
