Abstract

Abstract This research is to establish a new effective evaluation method for evaluating the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine (“TCM”), which can reflect both the final and periodical effect of TCM therapy program on virus pneumonia. Survive analysis was conducted based on the result of multicenter, block randomization, parallel control clinic test and changing trends of syndromes. The effect of the clinic test was evaluated by both the new method using syndrome scores and degrees of effect based on dynamic changes of syndrome and the traditional method based on syndrome changes at the end of treatment course. The new effective evaluation method was formed based on changing trends of syndromes. The results of the clinic test using the new evaluation method and the traditional method were in positive correlation. This indicates that the new method of effective evaluation shows the advantage of Chinese medicines which can be applied widely.
