Effective bounds for traces of weak Maass forms

Abstract

We give an asymptotic formula with an effective bound on the error term for traces of CM values of a generic class of weak Maass forms. We apply this result to give asymptotic formulas with effective bounds on the error terms for the partition function, the Andrews smallest parts function, and the coefficients of Ramanujan's mock theta functions f(q) and ω(q).
