Abstract
To estimate and assess the impact of temperature on battery performance parameters, we constructed a battery model using MATLAB 2021 and Simscape. We used a given electric car model in MATLAB to investigate the effect of temperature on battery life cycle. The influence of temperature on the battery pack is our main emphasis. The battery utilized in this project is a Lithium-ion battery, which is widely used in electric vehicles. The battery's specifications are also provided in this. For constructing our effective battery pack, we also go over the battery management system and the battery thermal management system. We will investigate the influence of battery temperature while the automobile is in motion, as well as after attaching a cooling system to the battery. We'll also talk about the impact of temperature on battery internal resistance, and how this increased internal resistance or temperature causes a sudden spike in battery voltage.
