Abstract

Objective To investigate the curative effect of Xiyanping injection combined with avermectin A capsules on plaque psoriasis and its influence on activation regulated protein (RANTES), monocyte chemoattractant protein -1 (MCP-1) level. Methods Eighty-four patients with plaque psoriasis were selected from January 2015 to April 2016, according to different treatment options, they were divided into control group (n=42) and study group (n=42). The control group was only treated with avermectin A capsule, the study group was used avermectin A capsule and Xiyanping injection. The psoriasis area and severity index (PASI), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), RANTES, MCP-1 level changes between the two groups were compared before and after treatment, and the clinical curative effects and adverse reaction rates were analyzed between the two groups. Results Before treatment, the PASI score and TNF-α levels showed no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the PASI score (4.52±0.69), levels of TNF-α [(6.55±1.01) pg/ml] in study group were significantly better than those in the control group [(8.32±1.77), (12.50±2.46) pg/ml], the differences were significant (P 0.05). After the treatment, the RANTES[ (21.75±6.34) pg/ml], MCP-1[ (140.08±23.57) pg/ml] in study group were significantly better than those in the control group [(35.81±6.05) pg/ml, (152.28±15.71) pg/ml], the differences were significant (P 0.05). Conclusions The curative effect of Xiyanping injection combined with avermectin A capsule in the treatment of plaque psoriasis is effective, can effectively relieve clinical symptoms, reduce inflammatory factors and RANTES, the expression level of MCP-1, improve the efficacy, and has high safety, so it is worthy of popularization and application. Key words: Xiyanping; Avermectin A capsule; Plaque psoriasis; Regulated protein; Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1
