Abstract
In the paper, theoretical studies on the losses of sliding friction depending on the shape of the raceway and the roller have been presented. The phenomenon of roller skew under the action of frictional forces and the effect of this skew on the distribution of forces in the bearing have been considered. The extent to which the power losses depend on the introduced geometrical discrepancy of the roller and the raceway has been demonstrated.
