Abstract

The performance of the classical evaporative summer air-conditioning system for different working fluids is studied. Also a modified summer air conditioning system is proposed. The performance of the proposed system for different working fluids is investigated quantitavely and the performance of both systems for different working fluids is compared. It is found that changing the working fluids of the classical evaporative system influences the efficiency especially for Argon by about 8%, whereas the change of working fluids for the modified system improves the efficiency slightly.
