Abstract

This paper aims to find the optimal vibration frequency and weight bearing of vibration stimulation. Methods: (1) Half squat, no weight bearing, 30% body weight, and 50% body weight, vibration frequencies 0 Hz, 30 Hz, 40 Hz, and 50 Hz; (2) Seven muscles: rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior, and medial and lateral gastrocnemius. The results show that no weight bearing vibration was a significant change in the activation of the tibialis anterior and medial gastrocnemius muscles. 30% weight bearing activated the vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, and gastrocnemius medialis more significantly. 50% weight bearing and 40 Hz vibration had the most significant activation of the medial peroneal muscle. 30% weight bearing and 40 Hz vibration stimulated vastus medialis, biceps femoris, and lateral activation was better. 50 Hz vibration stimulation and 30% weight bearing activated the vastus medialis, biceps femoris better. Conclusion: (1) the activation of lower limb muscle groups tends to increase under weight bearing vibration conditions, especially in the quadriceps femoris muscle, and the vibration frequency is better at about 40 Hz. (2) under the stimulation conditions of changing vibration frequency, small load weight bearing had better activation of lower limb muscles at low vibration frequency, and large load weight bearing had better activation of lower limb muscles with increasing vibration frequency
