Abstract
Antiferromagnetic resonance (AFMR) have been studied in La 1− x Sr x MnO 3 single crystals (0< x<0.1) in the frequency range ν=2– 25 cm −1 at T=3– 300 K . Two AFMR modes, quasiferromagnetic (F) and quasiantiferromagnetic (AF) were observed and studied below T N. A strong decrease of the resonance frequency of the F-mode was revealed with increasing x, while the frequency of the AF-mode is only slightly decreased (20%). The observed behaviour of the AFMR modes corresponds to a canted magnetic structure and its evolution with increasing x.
