Abstract

Aim: HDL cholesterol efflux capacity (CEC) has been inversely associated to cardiovascular (CV) risk. We evaluated the relationship between vitD status, that has been related to CV risk, and: 1) Flow-mediated dilation (FMD) and pulse wave velocity (PWV), markers of subclinical atherosclerosis; 2) HDL CEC; 3) serum cholesterol cell loading capacity (CLC).
