Abstract

Objective To observe the treating effect of vitamin B1 injection at three-yinjiao point combined with acupuncture eight-liao point on bladder dysfunction of cervical cancer patients with residual urine 〉 400 ml after radical hysterectomy. Methods 41 patients were selected and randomly divided into the therapy group (22 patients) and the control group ( 19 patients). They were diagnosed as cervical cancer and carried out radical hysterectomy. 7 days after the operation, their residual urine was more than 400 ml. Both groups were given urinary catheter time opening, bladder douching and replacing tone-off uric bag. Vitamin B1 injection at three-yinjiao point combined with acupuncture eight-liao point was carried out in the therapy group. After 5 days of follow-up, the amounts of residual urine were compared in the two groups. Results The residual urine was (47.6 ± 13.6) ml and bladder capacity was (475.6 ± 14.3 ) ml in the therapy group, but the residual urine was(218.0 ± 17.6) ml and bladder capacity was(476.1 ±11.3) ml in the control group. The difference between the two groups was significant ( P 〈 0. 05 ). Conclusions Vitamin B1 injection at three-yinjiao point combined with acupuncture has significant effect on bladder dysfunction of cervical cancer patients after radical hysterectomy.
