Abstract
The analysis of the squeeze film between two rotating annular discs, one with a porous facing, is extended to include the effect of velocity slip at the porous surface through the Beavers-Joseph slip model. The problem is solved analytically using the separation of variables method. The effect of slip is to reduce the load capacity and the response time of the squeeze film.
