Abstract

This study verified the effect of ultrasonic treatment (hereinafter referred to as UST) on the comprehensive properties of (Ti32.5V27.5Zr7.5Nb32.5)0.91Ni0.09 high entropy alloy (HEA). The UST refines the interdendritic of (Ti32.5V27.5Zr7.5Nb32.5)0.91Ni0.09 HEA and reduces the content of C14 Laves phase. The increase of BCC/C14 Laves value has an effect on the diffusion of hydrogen atoms, this factor makes the hydrogen absorption amount appear the law of the sample before UST > the sample after UST at low and medium temperature, and the sample before UST < the sample after UST at high temperature. The UST makes the BCC phase at the dendrite become coarse. This factor prolongs the distance for hydrogen atoms to detach from the BCC phase, making the removal of hydrogen atoms difficult.
