Abstract

Objective Explore the potential molecular mechanism of Tuberostemonine against tuberculosis infection. Methodes Analysis and compare the different expression of TLR2 and MyD88 in U937 cells infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis(Mtb)strain H37Ra before and after treatment with Tuberostemoninel, by realtime PCR, FACS and western blot. Results The mRNA and protein expression of TLR2 and MyD88 in U937 cells could be upregualted by Tuberostemonine, which reduced when infected with H37Ra.Conclusion Tuberostemonine might exert the effect against tuberculosis infection by regulating the TLR2-MyD88 pathway through improving the expression of TLR2 and MyD88 in macrophages infected with Mtb. Key words: Tuberostemonine; Toll-like receptors; MyD88
