Abstract
The present work is an endeavour to investigate the administration of two hormones namely, Thyroxine and Testosterone, on water, lipid and protein contents in few selected tissues of a fresh water teleostean fish Mystus tengara (Ham.). Marked fluctuations in these constituents in Liver, brain, muscle, kidney and gonad (ovary) were observed following the treatment of above noted two hormones. .
