Abstract

Effects of thermal changes on the properties of 14 layer all-dielectric interference Fabry-Perot filters using cryolite and zinc sulphide have been studied. It has been established that with increasing temperature the transmission peak is translated in the direction of the red part of the spectrum. Also, a broadening of the passband has been observed. The increase in thickness of the spacer layer of a Fabry-Perot interference filter and the change of the index of refractivity have been studied and their effects on the passband of the Fabry-Perot interferometer considered.
