Abstract

The article presents the results of a laboratory study of samples from St3 steel after various thermal treatments. The results of mechanical tests and measurements of the relaxation coercive force magnitude are also presented. Processes that occur to the structure during heat treatment have been studied and described using X-ray diffraction patterns and images obtained with a scanning electron and an optical microscope. The influence of structural changes on the relaxation coercive force and mechanical parameters of the steel under study is described.
