Abstract

The structure of coordination polymers formed by a macrocyclic nickel(II) complex and aromatic carboxylates as precursors of nickel hydroxide coatings was shown to be an essential factor determining their phase composition and electrochemical characteristics as well as electrochemical properties in the oxidation of urea in basic solutions accompanied by the release of molecular hydrogen.
