Abstract

The paper demonstrates the effect of the step in the blow channel and the insulating lining on the intensity of mixing natural gas with the air blast and its combustion in the blow channel, as well as on the increase in the air blast temperature at the tuyere outlet. This allows to increase natural gas consumption and reduce coke consumption.
