Abstract
Abstract The magnetic susceptibility was calculated for the periodic Anderson Hamiltonian. Different results were found for the longitudinal and transverse terms. The total susceptibility has Van Vleck and Pauli-type contributions. A contribution from the random nature of the model was found, this term brings the results closer to experiment.
