Abstract
We show that a transverse depolarisation function is well described by a second-order iteration method for a static muon in a nuclear dipole system. On the other hand, depending on the geometrical conditions, the usually used stochastic method can lead to a bad approximation for this function. This is due to the neglect of the muon induced spin dynamics on the nuclear dipole system.
