Abstract
Data on the short range order and type of the basic structural units of vitreous 2TeO 2 .V 2 O 5 - (2TV), V 2 O 5 , TeO 2 , as well as binary glasses from the TeO 2 - GeO 2 and TeO 2 - WO 3 systems were obtained, using X-ray diffraction and infrared (IR) spectroscopy. Conclusions were made concerning the influence of the method of preparation on the structure of glasses.
