Abstract

Effect of fabrication conditions on the physicochemical and catalytic properties of catalysts based on cation-exchange resins was studied. It is shown that the porous structure and surface texture, mechanical and osmotic characteristics of both gel-like and macroporous ion exchangers are determined by the content of divinylbenzene in the copolymer. Effective ways to raise the activity of the catalysts were found.
