Abstract

The effect of temperature on low field dependent microwave absorption (LFDMA) in pure YBa 2Cu 3O 7−δ prepared by solid state reaction method is studied near T c. Our results show that the peak position of LFDMA is slowly varying function of temperature near T c. Peak height and hysteresis area of LFDMA vary as (T c − T) α where α is different for different samples. Our LFDMA results are explained quantitatively on the basis of simple representative resistively shunted Josephson junction model.
