Abstract

We examine the effect of temperature and inlet velocity on the flow of a nonNewtonian fluid, POM. Three viscosity models are used to model the flow of POM between two parallel plates. The constants of the three models are obtained from available experimental data. The effect of transverse temperature and velocity gradients, viscous dissipation or shear heating are discussed
