Abstract

Electrical conductivity has been used as a structurally sensitive parameter characterizing the isothermal crystallization process in amorphous Se and SeTe alloy. The nature of the growth phase, during the phase transition in Se:Te is discussed and compared with that for Se. A decrease in the average value of the growth parameter, n, and the effective activation energy for crystal growth, EG, has been observed in the present study on Te substitution.
